Current physical media platforms have become obsolete because they are no longer easily compatible with mobile devices. Most media consumers do not bother with products that are not easily accessible through mobile devices such as smartphones, phablets and tablets. To solve this major problem, Crystal Innovations, Inc. has developed the Flash Crystal(TM). Flash Crystals can link to any media on the internet including video, music, books, and documents. FCs are integrated with NFC and Bluetooth in order to communicate with mobile devices instructing them to fetch or transfer media from the internet. The metadata from each use of the FC with a device is then transmitted and stored in a data repository. This allows for the development of value-added services such as real-time media distribution tracking and the establishment of real-time fan loyalty and engagement programs.
