Soda Wellness is designed to focus on interpersonal wellness, with specific focus on sports performance, addiction and issues with disordered eating and codependency. Jim is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Addictions Counselor in the state of Colorado. Being able to focus on improving sports performance from a psychological standpoint, along with being able to address areas of need, such as mental health and addiction, Soda Wellness is unique in its approach. My goal is to focus on improving performance, merging skills taught to improve sports performance and coping skills for dealing with life and possibly addiction. Soda Wellness was also designed to address team dynamics and addiction. Whether it is off season issues or performance enhancing drugs, there can be a culture that grows that affects the individual and the team. Years of experience and education in both areas give Jim the ability to assess what is happening, and develop a plan to address these issues, along with working towards educating players, coaches and staff. Working in residential treatment and hospital settings for a number of years also gives me the experience to bring that assessment to other businesses and treatment centers for assessment purposes.
