We aim to promote Nottingham and the Creative Quarter locally, regionally and nationally as a destination in which to locate a business and raise its profile as a place where fresh ideas, new technologies, and enterprise are supported and celebrated. The Creative Quarter is a not-for-profit company, jointly owned by Nottingham City Council and Nottingham Trent University. The Creative Quarter covers an area of a third of a square mile and encompasses the historic Lace Market and Hockley, as well as Sneinton Market and the Island Site, home to BioCity, the UK’s largest bioscience incubation centre. The Creative Quarter is home to one of Nottingham’s largest independent retail zones, as well as Confetti Institute of Creative Technologies, Antenna, Nottingham Contemporary, Nottingham Arena, the National Justice Museum, Broadway Media Centre, Nottingham Arts Theatre and the Lace Market Theatre. It's also the home to New College Nottingham and will be home to the new Nottingham College. There are many businesses located in the CQ – shops, restaurants, café-bars, technology businesses, e-commerce, digital content generators, filmmakers, designers and product makers.
