Being located in the World Heritage City of Yazd, Shahid Sadoughi University of Medical Sciences is among top 10 medical universities of Iran offering 102 degree programs and 21 non-degree training programs. Currently, SSU has 410 faculty members and 5614 students in medical sciences and health services. The University is in charge of biomedical education and research, hospitals, health centers, and other related facilities such as pharmacies, laboratories, and diagnostic centers in Yazd Province.
