We believe that diverse, college-educated, homegrown leaders are in the best position to transform the inequitable systems that persist in our communities. We engage broad coalitions of organizations in the faith community and the public and private sectors to create meaningful impact. ________________________________________________________________________________ Signature Programs Act Six transforms communities by sending diverse, first-generation students together to private, faith-based, liberal arts colleges, while providing full scholarships and the training they need to become leaders in their home community and beyond. www.actsix.org Ready to Rise is a leadership development program that trains and supports cohorts of diverse, first-generation students in cohorts attending two- and four-year public colleges. www.readytorise.org Seed Internships connects college students with local businesses through paid internships that prepare diverse, local leaders to become professionals leading their community. www.seedinternships.org Tacoma Completes is a collective impact effort that Degrees of Change leads to eliminate equity gaps in and increase the overall proportion of Tacoma Public School graduates who persist and complete college. (website in process) The Foyost College Enrollment Visualizer helps school districts and organizations track their students’ progress through college while providing Degrees of Change with earned revenue through a subscription software model. www.foyost.org
