Buddy Bags is a 501(c)3 Non Profit based in Biloxi, MS that creates comfort bags to help children entering foster care transition into the system. Each bag contains a fleece blanket, small stuffed animal, activity book, and hygiene kit. Buddy Bags was created in 2016 by a foster mother and friends using their professional contacts to make the first donation drive possible. It has grown immensely and is working to create relationships with all CPS county offices to expand their reach throughout Mississippi. Buddy Bags also works further than the first stages of the child's transition into the foster system by hosting socials for foster families.
