NES Banking & Finance Society is a non-commercial student organization created in 2013 by students of the leading Russian university in economics -- New Economic School. Our mission is to help students ace the finance world. Since the foundation, we have successfully conducted over 25 educational events with successful people from financial industry. Among those are meetings with Dmitry Kushaev (CEO of Credit Suisse Russia), Ruben Vardanyan (Founder of Troika Dialogue), Dmitry Sedov (co-head of Goldman Sachs Russia), Ekaterina Trofimova (CEO of ACRA -- Russian national rating agency) and other people from the finance industry. In June 2015, NES Banking & Finance Society joined International Finance Society Association (IFSA) -- the largest network of student finance clubs with 30+ student clubs from all over the world. In February 2016, we took an active role in organizing IFSA Traders' Cup -- world's largest student trading competition organized by students.
