Children of Grace
www.childrenofgrace.comChildren of Grace (CoG) demonstrates the love of Jesus Christ by offering hope to Ugandan AIDS orphans through education, healthcare, and empowerment programs to enable a better future. Children of Grace provides child sponsorship for over 800 AIDS orphans in Uganda. Sponsorship provides children with access to education, a hot lunch, medical care, mentorship, and supporting programs. In 2014 approximately 120 children attended a week long camp and received Biblical and life skills training in a fun, safe environment. Life skills training and HIV education was also provided to children throughout the year through retreats, vacation bible schools and seminars held in surrounding villages and at the CoG learning resource center in Jinja, Uganda. One of the programs that differentiates CoG from the traditional sponsorship model is our mentor program. Our staff of Ugandan child mentors helps our students achieve their academic, professional, and personal goals. Through our sponsorship program we hope to prepare the next generation of change agents who will impact their communities and help to eradicate extreme poverty and AIDS. CoG has been blessed to watch students transform into men and woman who reflect the love of Christ to those around them.
