The Aqua Initiative is a charity that works to eradicate global water poverty and works to raise awareness and funds to help individuals around the world without access to clean water and sanitation. The charity operates within the UK, to promote and fundraise with the intention of encouraging people to take action to solve the crisis. Through events and donations, the Aqua Initiative contributes to both traditional and innovate technologies to bring clean water and sanitation to communities around the world. We believe access to the simple resource of clean water is key to living a healthy, safe, productive and rewarding life and is the centre of the world's greatest issues. We look to enhance lives and create sustainable projects with help from our local partners. The charity started off as a high school project by it's founder, and after successful events and many international projects helping thousands of lives, in 2013, the Aqua Initiative became a registered charity in the United Kingdom. As an organisation, our key operations are to raise awareness of our charity, the crisis and our work, to organise events and provide opportunities for supporters to donate, then to use the funds raise to construct projects for international communities. We also operate with transparency, and wish to be a fresh, modern charity, that connects with its' supporters. We want to make the world a better place, and need your help.
