Outside of marketing portable PA systems, AmpliVox Sound Systems provides pink podiums to any Komen Affiliate free of charge for use at events such as the Komen Race for the Cure, fundraisers, meetings or other events. The pink podiums are made of heavy-duty plastic, making them suitable for indoor and outdoor use and they include lockable casters for easy mobility. The donation is an extension of AmpliVox’s Pink Podium Promise, which has distributed nearly 100 podiums to breast cancer organizations since its inception in 2009. Doing their part to protect the environment, AmpliVox Sound Systems also manufactures their PA systems and lecterns to be RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substance) and WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) Compliant. The raw particle board panels are Green Cross certified as 100% recycled and recovered wood fibers, and AmpliVox packages their products using recycled and biodegradable materials.
