The Military Polo is a day run by Chukka Events. Chukka Events was founded by two friends who wanted to combine the thrilling spectacle of polo, including the glamour, with the wonderful venue of Loseley Park. Polo is made all the more special when the majority of spectators have a connection, not matter how loose, to the teams playing. We wanted to ensure the teams chosen to play were known to people outside of the polo world as well as regular supporters and so the Royal Navy and British Army Polo Associations were invited to enter teams for the match. With these two teams taking part, the name for the event seemed pretty clear, and so The Military Polo came to life. With opportunity to grow the event and the concept with other teams and country park locations we’re very much looking forward to the future.
