INTRODUCTION TO WOMEN IN BUSINESS Greetings and Welcome to Women in Business Network Platform, It is the intent of Women in Business Community Network to build on the existing legacy while empowering women at all levels of government both National and County through education and capacity building as we focused on innovative ways to cater for the potential that our women have to grow the economy - Access Finance(Money), Access Markets, Access Information(Mentorship). The organization focuses on a good representation on policy and advocacy, Networking and Partnership. Our Mission is to promote, assist and enhance economic and business development for all our members at both National and County Chapters so as to stimulate wealth at all levels of governments right from the communities they represent. We shall strive to blend all women professionals in the Women in Business Community Network to find the synergy required to empower and create an expanded economic atmosphere and market for an all-inclusive business development. Our goal is to: Encourage women business owners and other professionals to network with the National and County WIB Chapters and other business organizations in order to develop a business identity for themselves that will propel their agenda right from the County level to the National level To ensure maximum networking for impact, sustainability and visibility through the Top Women in Business Awards Program, The Market Days, Trade Missions, Policy Round Table Discussions, CEOs Meetings. Build conditions among diverse groups with the different levels of representation with a common economic agenda to ensure that the women issues are addressed Increase the awareness of the economic impact and contributions of the woman through the different County and National Investment conferences Work towards increasing the 30% procurement uptake and the Women Enterprise Fund opportunities- Formalize Businesses Create County Business Development
