Spicentice was founded in 2005 by Ketan Varu; a hungry university student. His love for food became his passion in sharing what good quality home cooking is all about. Spicentice specialises in expertly blended herbs and spices with easy-to-use recipes to make amazing meals from scratch. We’ve created recipes from all around the world for families to enjoy. Our aim is to transform lives one meal at a time. Based in Leicester our small factory is where all the magic happens. Our team understand the importance of providing good quality. With robust systems in place our BRC Double Grade AA accredited site is very much at the top of its game. With Great Taste Awards, Design Business Awards and being members of Sedex, we are a proud spicy team. Our site is also Nut and Sesame free and has been approved by a number of large retailers. We started selling our kits at local markets and food festivals which then grew to supplying large multiple retailers, independent retailers, food service, own label and then a huge online presence.
