Sunway International School (SIS) is the only Canadian-IB School in Malaysia, offering both Canadian (Ontario) and International Baccalaureate programmes. SIS Sunway City Kuala Lumpur first opened in 2008 as one of the schools licensed by the Ministry of Education Ontario, Canada to grant credits leading to the Ontario Secondary School Diploma. In 2017, the second campus in Sunway City Iskandar Puteri in Johor opened its door and offering Kindergarten-Grade 12 programmes. By 2023, SIS KL will be relocating to a new purpose-built 7 acres campus located in USJ 1 and the school will be offering Kindergarten and Primary 1 to 5.
