Contractor Reference has been created by veterans of the interim recruitment industry, who have long believed that the collation, management and sharing of references in contracting markets is inefficient for all stakeholders. Contractors rarely collate and manage their own referencing, preferring to leave it to agencies or only chasing them from previous clients when prospective clients want sight of them. Agencies in turn rarely share references with competitors, believing them to be their own intellectual property. Contractor Reference aims to solve all of these problems by allowing the contractor to manage the collation of all of their references, and share them with prospective clients and recruitment agencies to secure new assignments Referees who respond to reference requests via Contractor Reference need to only ever write one reference, ever. They can keep a copy of that reference and share with any recruitment agency or prospective client that contacts them in future. This will ensure reference collation and sharing will be more efficient for candidates and clients, allowing candidates to secure the assignments they want and allowing organisations to make better informed hiring decisions.
