As the largest container freight station in the Pacific Northwest, MacMillan-Piper has provided reliable, quality service to customers around the world for more than 40 years. The company operates six facilities near the Ports of Seattle and Tacoma. Each one has unique physical characteristics, allowing for shipment of a variety of freight via rail and/or truck. MP has more than 350,000 square feet of warehouse space, 170 truck doors and 70 railcar spots available. Our Seattle and Tacoma facilities each specialize in transloading a wide range of products, such as lumber, paper, bentonite, refrigerated cargo, steel, and dry bulk commodities. MacMillan-Piper is a designated U. S. Customs Examination Station (CES) for the Port of Seattle, which allows us to expedite cargo clearance for importers and exporters. MP also operates USDA-certified food-grade warehouses in both Seattle and Tacoma.
