DICRONITE®

www.dicronite.com

LSI is an innovative, international dry film lubrication manufacturer and distributor. We originally developed Dicronite® (DL5®) for NASA’s space exploration program, where reduction of friction and wear in harsh environments was essential. Today, “Dicronite® Inside” is much more than a trusted aerospace lubricant; it's also used in Plastics Molding, Medical Devices, Automotive parts, Semiconductors and Food Processing, where it improves mechanical system performance. DL5® is a modified Tungsten Disulfide (WS2) coating that can be dry air applied at ambient temperatures. Requiring no cure time, binders, adhesives or carriers, Dicronite® provides an ultra-low coefficient of friction with a maximum thickness of 0.5 microns. The coating does not affect precision tolerances and molecularly bonds with all metals, many plastics and select ceramics. Extensive removal prior to repairs or reapplication is not necessary. We are proud to have several licensed Dicronite® application facilities in the U.S. and abroad. Many of these locations maintain major accreditations, including NADCAP, ISO9001, AS9100, AS9104 and ITAR. Their commitment to superior quality and unmatched customer service is evidenced by the repeated trust of global and industry leaders. Contact us today to learn how Dicronite® can enhance your component’s performance as well as your production system’s output.
