Vytal (formerly known as DeepCerebri) is a startup that lies at the forefront of medical AI research, focusing on making deep learning-based diagnostic software accessible to more people. How are we doing this? We are completely shifting the current diagnostic basis for diseases from clunky computers and large pieces of hardware to what’s in the pocket of many people today: smartphones. With a core team consisting of accomplished high school students who've been accepted to top programs such as the Research Science Institute (RSI) and who have done/currently are doing research at institutions like Harvard, MIT, Microsoft, Stanford, Georgetown and the World Health Organization, we believe that we can make Vytal’s vision a tangible reality. Especially with assistance from a multitude of industry leaders in the medicine and AI space acting as mentors. Currently, Vytal is working on two large scale projects, namely creating fast and accurate smartphone based diagnostic softwares for neurologic and cardiac assessments.
