We are pleased to introduce our new UK registered charity maNGOma – Mutual Assistance – for NGOs – for Mutual Advantage (former name Pulsar International). We believe that the needs of vulnerable and disadvantaged people across the world are best identified and met by their local communities, led by their non-governmental organisations (NGOs). maNGOma‘s role is to help make this happen through fundraising, business development support and the facilitation of knowledge and experience sharing between NGOs around the world (including NGOs within the UK). Currently we are supporting projects in Kenya (the Health and Water Foundation), Ghana (Fistrad Sandema), Cameroon (Camaay) and Cambodia (Stung Treng Women’s Development Centre). To do our work we depend upon volunteers. We work closely with the undergraduate and postgraduate students from the School of International Development at the University of East Anglia (UEA). However, we are always looking for new volunteers to help take our brilliant charity forward. Please contact us if you would further information on how you can get involved.
