Employee-Caregivers are everywhere throughout most organizations. Approximately 40% of American workers provide family care at any given time. By 2030 it is estimated that more than 70% of employees will have family care responsibilities. The employee work and care collision are currently labeled as the ‘national caregiving crisis’. Non-clinical institutional care and home caregiving centric, this crisis is referred to as the “Care Economy”. The employee-caregiver crisis is based on shifting values and policies, and misaligned resources and infrastructure across the employment spectrum – in every zip code – and disproportionately affects women and minorities in the modern workplace. We are thought leaders in this interdisciplinary and inter-industry arena. We also translate thoughts into action. Once concepts are ready for the marketplace, we work with others to produce and deliver products that overcome barriers to work, life, and caregiving success. A portion of those revenues is returned to the charitable organization to fuel ongoing innovation and community contribution.
