The DREAM Village is a movement to bring people together when we need it most. We are a voice that speaks to our country’s truest values of diversity, equality and neighborly love. We are a family of kids, adults, social influencers, parents, and activists who believe every child has the right to a meaningful life. And we are a movement to replace intolerance with kindness, division with community, and injustice with hope. Too often, kids think the only way to success is through pro sports or moving to Hollywood. Many of today’s minority youth only see role models who look like them in television and on the field. Subconsciously, these images teach kids that the only way to be successful as a minority is to play football or pursue a career in hip hop. We know that self-limiting belief ignores kids’ natural intellectual talents and restricts their visions for their futures.
