SWG Schraubenwerk Gaisbach GmbH is one of the leading manufacturers of screws for the woodworking and metalworking trades as well as for industry in Europe. The company is a subsidiary of the Würth Group with headquarters in Waldenburg and was founded in 1967. SWG focuses on two business areas: Production and Trade. Our goal is to be the leader in quality, technology, innovation and sustainability. The production division has stood for innovative and high-quality screws for decades. With the help of state-of-the-art production facilities on an area of 27,800 m², we produce up to 12 million screws a day from 70 tonnes of steel. The focus is on screws up to 1.5 m long for timber construction. Since 2014, the in-house engineering office "SWG Engineering" in Rülzheim has been an integral part of the "Production" business unit. The team, which currently consists of 15 employees (engineers and software developers), offers customers extensive know-how in the field of dimensioning, planning and consulting in engineering timber construction. The trade division is made up of the focal points "Automotive" and "Fastening and Joining Technology" and supplies the building materials/timber trade, DIY stores, wholesalers and online platforms as well as automotive parts wholesalers in Germany and throughout Europe.
