Our Mandate: - To help survivors of political violence overcome the legacy of violent oppression and return to leading normal lives. - To provide specialized knowledge to professionals and to increase public awareness regarding survivors of torture. - To cooperate with the health community, social service agencies, immigrant settlement workers and the broader community to ensure that the needs of survivors of torture are recognized and met at all levels.
