“More of the same” won’t FIX the problem. We offer an entirely different approach than schools and tutors do. We aim to FIX the problem rather than continuing to accommodate or work around the problem. Students who are working harder than their peers need to strengthen their underlying skills or mental “tools” needed for efficient learning. Why do smart kids struggle in school? Their underlying cognitive processes or mental “tools” need developing. If your child is struggling to read at the level of his or her peers, we may be able to help. Is your child falling behind in reading fluently? Are they reading, but without comprehending what they read? Do they have difficulty in their spelling? Are they being told that they are lazy or need to pay closer attention to their work? Our students range from being in the gifted programs in school to students who have dyslexia, ADHD, APD, language delays, auditory memory deficits or specific learning disabilities. We offer specialized programming that is short-term and individually based on evaluation of specific cognitive processes behind their success in reading, writing and spelling.
