Harry Specters is a luxury chocolatier empowering autistic people. Its production facility is located in Ely, Cambridgeshire, United Kingdom. Award-winning flavours and positive social change, that’s the ethos at Harry Specters. Mona, Shaz and their son Ash, who is autistic, are behind this social enterprise. While visiting a chocolate shop on a holiday in Scotland in 2011, Mona discovered a perfect way of combining her passion for creating positive change for people with autism with her love for chocolate. Ash came up with the name and a year later, Harry Specters was born - dedicated to crafting the most delicious luxury chocolates that create employment for young autistic people. They are involved in every aspect of the business – from making and packaging the products to administration, design and photography. The luxury chocolates have won numerous Academy of Chocolate and Great Taste awards for their quality and flavour. The social enterprise had enabled hundreds of young people with autism to have a brighter future as every lovingly handcrafted bar and chocolate sold helps improve the lives of autistic people. The Harry Specters flagship retail store was opened at The Grafton, Cambridge in 2019 and they continue to sell chocolates online and also to the corporate market.
