The Danish Economic Councils consist of the Economic Council and the Environmental Economic Council. The Secretariat assists the Chairmanship preparing the reports to the Economic Council and the Environmental Economic Council. The Secretariat is publicly funded (over the general budget). The secretariat (as well as the Chairmanship) is independent from to the Government, the Council members, and other special interests.
