Women in Security & Privacy ("WISP") is a fiscally-sponsored project of Community Initiatives. Our mission is to advance, advocate for, and increase the participation of women in the Privacy and Information Security fields. Currently, we are serving Bay Area women. However, we plan to expand to several other key markets over the next year or two. Objectives: - Introduce women to the Information Security and Privacy fields and potential career opportunities; - Provide substantive knowledge sharing, networking, and mentoring opportunities for established female Information Security and Privacy professionals; and - Educate female students and women in STEM about Information Security and Privacy issues and opportunities.
