The Institute for Family Caregiving, Inc. (IFC) is a collaborative of experienced family caregivers, long-term care experts, and current and former care recipients. Conceived as a grassroots institute, IFC's work supports family caregivers, health care providers, employers, faith and community based groups, and caregiver assistance organizations. IFC provides customized curriculum and classes, consulting, support groups, events, and other materials that highlight best practices for performing in the caregiver role. Through its offering of practical, concise, culturally appropriate programs of support for family caregivers, IFC serves as an ideal resource for provider organizations, health care advocates, caregiver assistance agencies, employers, non-profit organizations and community-based groups.
