Vets 4 Vets is a movement created by the Semper Fidelis Society of Jacksonville. The principle of Vets4Vets is about working towards uniting Veterans, military, their spouses, community leaders, and Veteran Organizations in NE Florida. Its intent is to provide a forum where Veterans and their organizations can share agendas, information, network amongst each other and introduce the Veterans community to prominent community leaders and organizations that assist and/or provide services to veterans and their families. Vets 4 Vets holds quarterly gatherings to bring everyone together to bring all of the local military and veterans resources together under one roof. Bring awareness to what NEFL has available and build collaboration. They are held on Saturday's. The Gatherings are an opportunity to meet fellow Veterans from other organizations, share in the camaraderie and work toward supporting each other. It is an opportunity for Veterans across Northeast Florida to present a united front when dealing with local Veterans issues. Vets 4 Vets also produces a weekly Information Blast to inform everyone about different organizations, events, happenings, and throughout the NEFL region that are of interest to military and Veterans. MISSION: INFORM our Veterans about policy changes, resources, and issues that we face as a collective group CONNECT our Veterans with organizations that will build a better future for tomorrow’s Veterans and programs that can assist today’s Veterans during times of need UNITE our Veterans to one another in an effort to build strong relationships and networks within our community ORGANIZE the voice of our Veterans so that we are heard within our Community, our State, and our Country TOGETHER WE ARE STRONGER! VISION: Ensure Veterans are respected and recognized for their service, always receive the benefits and entitlements they were promised and earned and ensure all veterans especially disabled Veterans are given a fair deal.
