RAVE - Rede Ferroviária de Alta Velocidade, S.A., is the Portuguese company whose mission is to develop and co-ordinate the necessary studies and projects to facilitate decisions on the planning, construction, financing, provision and operation of a high-speed rail network to be created in mainland Portugal and its connection with a similar Spanish network. RAVE was constituted by Decree Law No. 323-H/2000, published in the Diário da República gazette No. 291 (supplementary series I A), dated 19 December. Share Capital: €2.5 million Shareholders: Portuguese State - 60%; REFER - 40%. RAVE - High Speed Railway Network, S.A. was integrated in REFER in 2011. On January 17, 2014, the settlement accounts of RAVE were approved. The settlement was closed on February 12, 2014, in the respective Commercial Registry Conservatory.
