Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm

www.cygnetbaypearlfarm.com.au

Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm has grown from a boutique pearl farm on the remote coast of North-Western Australia to a dynamic and diverse operation with an award-winning tourism facility, marine research station and pearl jewellery retail division alongside the pearl farm. Situated 200km north of Broome, Western Australia on the Dampier Peninsula, Cygnet Bay's location provides easy access to the spectacular Kimberley Coast just a short drive or flight from Broome. Facilities at Cygnet Bay include ensuite Safari Tents and camping, a licensed restaurant and swimming pool. As one of just three pearl producers left in Western Australia we also offer the unique opportunity to tour a working pearl farm, and our Giant Tides Sea Safaris take our guests on a speedboat adventure to experience the world's largest tropical tides. Cygnet Bay Pearl jewellery is available through our pearl showrooms at the farm, in Broome and online. Cygnet Bay is the oldest Australian owned pearl farm, and for many years was known in the pearl wholesale industry as a producer of some of the world's finest pearls, including the world's largest fine quality round pearl which was harvested at the farm in 2004. Since our move into the pearl jewellery retail world in 2009, the name Cygnet Bay Pearls is fast becoming synonymous with high-quality pearl jewellery with a desirable provenance - the Broome Pearl. Cygnet Bay is also home to the Kimberley Marine Research Station (KMRS), the only independent marine research facility in Australia and an industry associate member of the West Australian Marine Science Institute.
