Founded in 1950, Ciavolino has a long experience and considerable know-how in the processing and distribution of pine nuts and dried fruit. Thanks to the ability to combine tradition and innovation, the Company has become an industry leader across Europe. Based in Ardea, near Rome, our Company can offer a wide range of high quality pine nuts, the product coming both from Italy and the Mediterranean area and from Pakistan and China. A modern factory that covers a surface area of about 30,000 square meters allows the company to manage the complete production process: from the acquisition and storage of the fresh pine cones to the finished product (pine nuts) shelled, sorted and packed. The product for wholesale is packed in 500 or 600 Kg Big Bags, or 25 Kg and 12,5 Kg boxes. On request, we can also provide smaller bags of 1 Kg. or 500g. The whole process of production also respects the strictest food safety requirements as certified by several national and international quality standards: IFS, BRC, ISO 9001:2008; BIOAGRICERT, BIOSUISSE, KOSHER, NOP.
