The EWES is a "wilderness" school offering training to international students in wild and natural environments in terms of technical skills, leadership and personal development and environmental aspects. The future and evolution of EWES will be shaped by the values that define our current situation: adaptability, experimentation, protection and tolerance. EWES wants to contribute to a rapidly changing society, offering professional training and courses that provide students with technical skills and, above all, personal skills that help in a healthy way to protect the natural environment and promote it. We also want to lead in the development of practical and theoretical knowledge that allows people to better understand our world and improve the conditions of local and global communities. We want to promote and support the professionalization of training in the natural environment, following the standards of the WGA, designing professional curriculum and carrying out development and research activities.
