Our organisation was first formed in 2011 after the first Pink Picnic, after 8 years of organising Salford’s annual Lesbian, Gay Bisexual, Trans, plus (LGBT)+ pride celebration, the group changed the organisations name to Salford Pride in 2018. As our organisation grows we are planning more events throughout the year. The Pink Picnic is our main project, however the team also organise and deliver smaller fundraising, awareness and educational projects throughout the year. The Salford Pride team is made up of volunteers from the LGBT+ community in and around Salford.
