The Center is doing business as Weld-Ed through funding support from the National Science Foundation. Weld-Ed is located in the Nord Advanced Technology Center at Lorain County Community College in Elyria, Ohio. The Weld-Ed portion of the facility is redesigned to include modern welding lab facilities, new classrooms and offices to support the operation. The lab facilities are being built using modern technology in the materials joining industry through partnerships with the major welding equipment and supply manufacturers. Thank you for visiting.
