The Göncöl Foundation is a Hungarian environmental nonprofit organisation based in Vác, Hungary. Its present structure was developed in 1989 to support member organisations of the Göncöl Alliance established since the 1970s. The Foundation's role is to preserve and promote environmental, human and societal values and to help society evolve towards a more sustainable model based on the co-operation of small, human sized communities.
