Court of Auditors is the external control body for the management of public and municipal resources, provides assistance to the Legislative Branch, has its headquarters in the Capital and own and exclusive jurisdiction over the subjects and persons subject to its competence. The external control exercised by the Court comprises accounting, financial, budgetary, operational and patrimonial oversight, and covers the aspects of legality, legitimacy, economics and reasonableness of acts that generate public revenue or expenditure.
