Fabled Motion Pictures
www.fabledmotionpictures.comFabled Motion Pictures is a feature film production company founded in 2005 by Derrick Sims and Alaina McClellan. The company first established itself when Sims' short film, The Battle at Marks Mill, was chosen to screen alongside Ang Lee's "Ride With the Devil" in IMAX. After the success of that film, Fabled continued to produce projects that focused mainly on the American south, and that has been their goal since. After many successful collaborations during the first five years of business, Fabled moved its base to Burbank, California and immediately began producing films there. In mid 2011, Fabled co-produced their first European feature. “Making Light in Terezin” was filmed over a month in the Czech Republic as well as domestically in New York, Minnesota, and Connecticut. The film was distributed by Cinedigm and is available on iTunes and Amazon. In October 2011, Fabled Motion Pictures produced its first solo feature, “Come Morning.” The film premiered October 21, 2012 at the Austin Film Festival. In February 2013, it won the Jury Award for Cinematography at the Oxford Film Festival and Best of Fest at the Charles B. Pierce Film Festival. It was acquired by Monarcg Entertainment and released on Blu-Ray, DVD, digital, and VOD in September 2014. FMP is currently in Wellington, New Zealand doing post production on the feature film “The Perfect Host: A Southern Gothic Tale." For more information visit: www.fabledmotionpictures.com
