The Conveyancing Foundation is a registered not for profit charity. Established by conveyancers to help conveyancers, and others in the property industry, to raise awareness and funds for their chosen charities through the Free Legal Fee Competition and Be Kind We Care Initiative. The Free Legal Fee Competition: Conveyancers are very good at adopting new processes and procedures and the Free Legal Fee Competition enables them to raise significant and consistent donations for their chosen charities. The Foundation is a not for profit organisation and our sole purpose is to help Conveyancing practices to raise funds for charities that are dear to them. The Free Legal Fee Competition was launched in 2010 and over the years the Competition has raised over £800,000.00 for some incredible charities. In 2015 the Free Legal Fee Competition won an Institute of Directors Corporate Social Responsibility Award and was shortlisted for a CSR Award at the National Investors in People Awards in 2016. Be Kind We Care Initiative: The Be Kind We Care initiative has been launched by the Conveyancing Foundation to encourage kind behaviour within our industry whilst also helping support charities providing mental health welfare initiatives. Regardless of how difficult everyday life can become, especially when working under pressure, it is crucial to respect one another and to be kind. Working collectively to be professional and kind in our communications can only have a positive impact. Our aim in 2021 is to encourage kind and professional behaviour within our industry and raise much-needed funds to charities focused on mental health and wellbeing. We hope that the property industry embraces this initiative.
