The Sanford Institute of Philanthropy at Long Island University has been established to offer a range of high-quality professional development opportunities to strengthen the capacity of nonprofit organizations on Long Island and in New York City. Founded by entrepreneur and philanthropist, T. Denny Sanford, the Institute focuses on preparing exemplary leaders, board members, and fundraising professionals of these organizations with the necessary skillset to dramatically increase the impact of charitable organizations in the U.S. The Institute will offer seminars, webinars, and a fundraising institute with a strong emphasis on developing fundraising, sustainable strategies and cause selling models.
