Crystal Meadow Farms
www.cm.farmQuality hemp extract oil begins with the farmer, the farmer’s love of the earth, love of providing, and love of the work they do. Our family moved to Nebraska in the late 1800’s, settling Keystone, Nebraska, helping on the Conservation Corps Projects, and finally putting down roots in Brule and Ogallala, Nebraska. Steve, one of thirteen siblings, started his farm from the ground up in the 1960’s; always progressive he transitioned from conventional farming to organic in 2007, certified by Oregon Tilth. Our products have been used by Chipotle, Tyson Chicken, and some of the largest organic dairies on the eastern slope of Colorado. In the early 2018 his daughter, Tiffany, brought to him the idea of growing hemp for CBD oil. Jumping in with two feet he went just 10 miles away into Colorado to rent two organic fields; the importance of keeping harmful by-products out of the end product was top priority. There were lots of lessons learned in 2018, one of the biggest: farmer’s have a vast knowledge of how to make plants grow, they should trust it. Soon after the harvest, Steve and Tiffany realized that growing was not enough they needed to start extracting the CBD and creating an array of products for people who care about knowing where they CBD comes from. The farm-to-table CBD line was in the works.
