Rising Tide is a Kolkata based food business with its core in seafood processing. It was started in 2013 by two brothers who wanted to connect the aqua farmer from rural Bengal to the rest of the world. Its produce is sold both globally and locally. A significant part of the global business is focused on Japan where the products are sold to final customers in the Rising Tide brand. For the Indian market Rising Tide has established strategic co packing arrangements and is introducing several ready to cook products which have already become staples in its foreign markets. The future of the business is in creating new recipes that customers can savour and cook/eat effortlessly.
