www.bohus-lugossy.comNAUTILUS Project by Bohus-Lugossy Foundation for Contemporary Glass Art was created with the intention of imparting the intellectual, educational, mentorship, material and physical legacy of Zoltan Bohus and Maria Lugossy glass sculptors, to offer their heritage in the service of future generations. NAUTILUS Project is built on three pillars: 1) To work in conjunction with the Research Institute of Art Theory and Methodology of the Hungarian Academy of Arts, using the context of international art history to publish a richly-illustrated volume on the evolution of contemporary Hungarian glass art, including a full-length feature documentary. 2) To open and make accessible the Bohus-Lugossy Residency's glass workshop to national and international glass artists, where they can gain access to equipment and materials to learn, hone and perfect their craft, style and technique. 3) To found Spatial Spiral - European Contemporary Glass Art Museum which showcases and presents outstanding Hungarian, European and international glass works from the last fifty years into today. The museum is designed after Zoltán Bohus's sculpture entitled "Spatial Spiral II." (1978), the architectural model of which can be seen at GENESIS exhibition at Ybl Creative House Buda was made by LAB5 architects.
