The iconic Rally New Zealand returns to the FIA World Rally Championship in 2020 after an eight year hiatus. Rally New Zealand officials are thrilled after receiving the news from WRC Promoter which has released the global calendar for the 2020 season. The four-day event will be based in Auckland from 3 to 6 September 2020, and has the backing of Auckland Tourism, Events and Economic Development (ATEED). “We are absolutely thrilled with the news that Rally New Zealand will return to the FIA World Rally Championship calendar,’ said Rally New Zealand 2020 chairman, Peter Johnston.
