NADPH

The National Alliance against Disparities in Patient Health (NADPH) is a nonprofit, public charity applying systems epidemiology, grass roots community health outreach, and implementation science to reduce health disparities and improve health outcomes in underrepresented populations for the good of the Nation’s public health. NADPH operates through a National partnership ecosystem spanning government, academic, nonprofit, and industry stakeholders. Some of our over 50 partners include the Institute of Systems Biology, Morgan State University, Howard University, the Personalize Medicine Coalition (PMC), the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS), BrightHive, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), the EP3 Foundation, Karmanos Cancer Institute, and WebShield to name a few. At NADPH we are trying to address this by working to overcome the gap in access to advanced, precision medicine-based care in underserved communities by developing and implementing technologies, services, and operational models that positively impact the communities we serve in the following areas: health awareness and education, health equity, health disparities, health technology, and precision medicine. Our organizational mandate is to use science and technology to eliminate health disparities and improve the health outcome in underserved populations. A key component of this effort is a partnership initiative between NADPH and the Community to form a Community Health Information Network (CHIN) platform to help members of the community better manage and use their health information to reduce health disparities and improve their health outcomes.
