Andrew L. Pettit, serves as the principal of Andrew L. Pettit, Architect. The firm began with a focus on revitalization and rehabilitation of the solid housing stock of the inner city and cultivated a clientele of families moving back into the city, developers providing housing and commercial spaces and business interests looking to establish a central identity along with this change. New apartment and mixed-use buildings, institutional renovations and commercial office work were incorporated into the firm’s experience allowing it to offer a wide range of professional representation including architectural and interior design expertise. Among some of the projects: several renovation projects on lower Fifth Avenue (in Chelsea) and a 9,000-square foot office space at 40 Wall Street. The firm has maintained its relationships with its clients (some for over 45 years).
