Development Together facilitates the placement of volunteers and interns in the developing world to contribute to community development projects. Interactions are collaboratively driven with a view to long term sustainability and partnerships with a focus on capacity building and long term social change. Volunteers and interns come from Business, Education, Engineering, Health, Humanities or Science backgrounds and may be undergraduate or post graduate students, professionals or retirees. They participate as guests of the host organisation, in 4 week minimum placements and are skill matched to the requirements of local community groups and companies who desire a mutually beneficial interaction and sustainable partnerships.
