The graphic studio - social firm Maturus has been established in 2010 within the project "Social enterprise and employment of people with handicap". This project became one of the four winning for 2010 in so called "Rok jinak" - innovative programme of the Vodafone Foundation. The founder of Maturus is the Foundation of Jedlicka´s Institute, non-profit organisation supporting young people with handicap. Maturus has employed people with handicap and in its transit programme offers training + real working experience in a real firm to other people with handicap; thus increasing their chances on the open labour market. In the period 2010-2014 there are already 18 graduates of the transit programme, 10 of them former students of the Schools of Jedlicka´s Institute. 2 of the graduates became regular employees of Maturus, another 7 found their employment within the world of graphic design.
