The Dx-Rx Institute is committed to research in companion diagnostics and drug-diagnostic co-development. The institute was founded in 2009 by Dr. Jan Trøst Jørgensen as an institution where research goes hand in hand with advice and consultancy. Molecular diagnostics are the key drivers in a more individualized pharmacotherapy such as stratified- and personalized medicine. The Dx-Rx Institute is committed to working with drug-diagnostic co-development and has been involved in a number of collaborations with both academia and commercial partners, including several 510(k) and PMA submissions on companion diagnostics. In addition to these activities the Dx-Rx Institute has taken part in educational activities at several European Universities and has published a number of articles on companion diagnostics and individualized pharmacotherapy, especially within oncology.
