The Midwest Renewable Energy Tracking System (M-RETS) issues and tracks renewable energy certificates (RECs) and renewable thermal certificates (RTCs) from generation located in North America. M-RETS is a non-profit organization with an independent governance board composed of energy sector, government, and NGO stakeholders.
